DAMP PROOFING

We cover all types of damp rising, transferring, interstitial, basements, whatever your problem just give us a call and we will be happy to come and survey your property at a time that suits you.

TIMBER TREATMENTS

Timbers within your property could need replacing for a variety of reasons whether it be because of wood worm, deathwatch beatles or just wet rot, our team is more than equipped to carry out treatment you require.

FLOOR REPLACEMENTS

Whether it's a simple remove and replace timber floor or a new concrete floor that requires reinforcing, we have you covered.

PLASTERING

Skimming over new stud wall to finish it off nicely, skimming dabbed plasterboard or simply giving your old plaster walls a new lease of life, we've got it covered.

STUD WORK AND INSOLATION

It could be stud work to divide or create a new room or studding to create an internal skin, whatever the case may be its always a good idea to insolate it well, whether it be fibre glass or celotex it will help keep those rising bills down and keep you warm in the winter.

SUMP PUMP AND SERVICING

Having a problem with water below the ground level? In a basement or lower part of your house, a sump pump could be just what you need. A pump is fitted below your floor level in a purpose built void, so when the water level rises before its a problem the pump detects the level and pumps it out automatically.
We do recommend when having a sump pump fitted, a service once a year to maintain the pump, the potential back up pump or simply check on battery power on the emergency alarm.

WALL TIE REPLACEMENTS

Have you noticed abnormal cracking in your building, a strange pattern of blown pointing? Your wall ties might have simply rusted out and expanded causing some worrying things to happen to your walls, but don't panic wall tie replacements are a common thing to happen. Give us a ring and we will come and inspect your ties so we can let you know if they need changing.

CAVITY INFILL REMOVAL

In many cases of cavity wall insulation, it has had a negative impact on the property be it lack of ventilation causing condensation or transferring damp across the cavity and we have even had cases where only part of the infill has been removed and has then lead to interstitial condensation from within the cavity bleeding through. Buildings have had cavities for 100 plus years for a reason, you have many other options on how to keep your home warm.

REFURBISHMENTS

Alongside our other services we have found ourselves partaking in several small and large refurbishments/project management roles. We carry out most of this with our own team and we have great relationships with contractors in the areas that are not our own expertise for example Electrical and Plumbing.
